I liked this combination of offer email and landing page for Google Adwords. Although the design for both is straightforward (as you’d expect from Google), both are well structured with clear layouts, good copywriting and clear calls-to-action.
I’d probably add a button to the email so that the call-to-action is a little stronger and emphasize the limited time element of the offer.
I like that the landing page, below, carries over the design of the email and does not have any unnecessary links or other page elements.
I would probably change how the email appears in my inbox. Although the sender was clearly identified as ‘Google Analytics’ the subject line unnecessarily repeated it by saying ‘Google Analytics: $100 Advertising Offer on Google Adwords’.
In addition, the email does not use a pre-header, and so in Gmail the subject line is followed by the first available line of text which doesn’t read too clearly.
Thanks for the information. A call to action button in a landing page is of course promising but in my view capturing details of visitors may help more.
Your Article about google’s e-mail marketing and landing page is nice and informative.Landing pages and its compact layout ,design are considered very important for internet marketing.
Nice post.
Wonderful post with the useful collections which is to be very helpful to refer. The samples are really nice & impressive. We may follow these to upgrade our state of business. Thx a lot for sharing this post.
You nailed when you mention the pre-header. Nice name too. I’ve been trying to find a name for this, but haven’t found one on the internet yet.
The preheader is extremely important for companies that send out mass emails. I’ve found that if you include an “alt” tag with an invisible image as the very first content item, and then repeat the subject header in the alt tag, it appears in a preview pane with the subject header instead of html code or other gobbley-gook that limits open-rates.
We did this for a company I worked (2 actually), and it increased open rates by over 20% and in one case doubled the open rate for Gmail users and those that utilize the preview pane.
It does matter. Now I have a name for it… LOL Thanks,.
Nice article I gained knowledge about marketing thanks for your post…

You are right. The Example is a great example of Marketing E-Mail and your Landing Page. I can learn a lof of this example.
Google Adwords seding the email which straight foward to show what benefit their customers with their product make them easy to reach their market. I do not like to enter youtube or media in the emial, because can say up t 80 percent of email account will directly take is as spam once the file size do have meida and will warning the customers when open it. This will lead to spam mail even you are not. Try to reduce to video in email even it do effective to attract your reader.
