Now that Keith has left our hospital web team we’re looking for a web designer to temporarily fill the void.
This would be a contract placement, working on-site for 1 to 3 months, while we look into some organizational issues before we start the hiring process to permanently fill this position.
So, if you’re a Seattle-based freelance web designer looking for a regular (40 hours per week) gig for a while then let me know. You would be working on both our external sites and our intranet. If you know a lot about working with Movable Type, then bonus!
To be considered, however, you must have excellent CSS skills (by that I mean that you can build a tableless web site), have a good knowledge of web standards, usability, and accessibility, and have great design skills. It’s taken as read that you are an advanced user of Photoshop and can code by hand.
If you’re interested, leave a comment or drop me a line. Please don’t bother to respond if you don’t have an online portfolio with at least a couple of sites that show off your CSS and design ability.
